Patel SIR Review

Patel sir has a got intriguing plot with some novelty. Its a revenge drama with some interesting twists. The film also has got heavy emotional moments and sentimental family drama. However, screenplay has several loopholes. First half is like beating around bush. Director seems to be carried away with the tagline of the film “Expect the unexpected.”

In the process trying to inforce suspense into the plot, director missed the core essence of the story. Second half is packed with the real content and appears rushed. Making also seems hurried with some amateur camera angles, loud music and under performances by supporting characters.

Jagapathi Babu’s elderly role is decent. Seasoned actor’s experience comes handy in giving powerful performance. However, he looked older for son’s character that it creates confusion to audience. Kabir Duhan Singh, Kalakeya Prabhakar, Subbaraju are good in villain roles.

Posani Krishna Murali tries some comedy but it didn’t workout well. There’s an interesting lady cop character. Little girl needs a special mention. Technical aspects are average. Patel Sir would have been a decent revenge drama with thriller feel with better production values.
